MOT Testing

For over 15 years we have been performing MOT tests on cars and vans, both petrol and diesel.

Once your vehicle is 3 years old, it's due its first MOT. It is then required to be tested every year after that.

We test Class IV vehicles:

Servicing helps prolong the life of your car, with most vehicle manufacturers recommending a service is performed every 12,000 miles or each year, whichever comes first.

We use only high quality parts when performing a service, thus ensuring the maximum performance before the following service is due.

We offer many repair services, ranging from an electric window motor to gearbox repairs - if necessary, using modern diagnostic equipment to track down the fault and repair it.

If you have an issue - we're confident that we'll be able to fix it.

From Hankook to Pirelli, Bridgestone to Michelin, we'll supply and fit them.

Each of our competitively priced tyres that we fit are expertly and precisely balanced to ensure safe and silent running.

If you like, you can call and reserve tyres if you know the size - just take a note of what is written on the wall of your current tyres - It'll look something like: "205/55/R16".

On average, brake pads require changing every 50,000 miles. However, this can vary depending on the type of driving and the vehicle itself.

If you do a lot of driving in the city centre - stopping in traffic constantly takes it's toll on brake pads - therefore it is suggested that pads are changed as frequently as every 25,000 miles.

However, if you do mostly motorway driving, the pads can last 60,000 miles or more.

Having your cars exhaust in good condition is key factor for performance as well as producing low enough emissions to successfully pass your MOT.

Since the exhaust runs the length of the underside of your car, it is exposed to the wear and tear of the roads and can develop issues. Should your exhaust develop a fault, we will be able to replace it or, if possible, perform a repair on it.

Common symptoms of exhaust problems include:

The most common cause of any car not starting is due to a battery issue. That's why it's important to keep your battery in good condition.

However, car batteries - like all other batteries, can degrade. Leading to it not holding a charge as well as it used to and possibly being unable to start the car.

We'll supply and fit a new battery in no time and have you back on the road before you know it.

Air Conditioning

The A/C in your car works by using a refrigerant (called Freon/R134) to extract and release any heat in the air - leaving behind only cool air.

When the air stops being as cool as it once was, it may be time to refill your A/C refrigerant. However, since A/C is a completely sealed system, if it's no longer as cool as it was, there may be a small leak or part failure - so bring it in for a check.

We use industry standard tools and equipment to recharge your A/C and bring back that refreshing, ice cold blast that you once had.

From an inoperative bulb to a major wiring or engine management fault, we use the latest diagnostic equipment to track down the fault and deal with it effectively. We're constantly investing in new tools to ensure that we get your diagnosis correct first time.
